Bike Ride in memory of John

Still in the planning stages, but I plan to do some type of ride in John’s memory.  Right now, it’s looking like we’ll do it with help from Miles for Melanoma of DE and proceeds will benefit the Melanoma Research Foundation.  I’m also hoping to find a bike club &/or bike store to assist with the endeavor.  We’re tentatively estimating a date in May or June at this point.  As an avid cyclist, I know John would  love us doing a bike ride to remember him!  If you’re interested in planning, helping, or riding, please let me know.  You can contact me at maryksmith “at” zoominternet.net

About Mary K. Smith

I was widowed in July 2009, when I lost my beloved husband, John, to melanoma. Cancer SUCKS. We have a young son who was just a year old when his father died. I live on a small farm in Maryland which is home to horses, cats, and a dog. I started this blog as a way for me to heal, a way to remember my husband, and eventually I'd like to share it with our son so he can see the love that his father had for him, the love that we had for each other, what a great person his father was, and how hard his father fought to live.
